These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain how our website, products, and services operate. By using our website www.shantima.com (“Site”) or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. ELIGIBILITY

To use this Site or place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this Site — including images, designs, product descriptions, logos, text, graphics, and layout — belongs to Shantima.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

4. PRODUCTS AND COLORS

All our garments are handmade, and small variations may occur — this is part of the natural beauty of linen and artisanal production.

We make every effort to display colors accurately, but screen settings may affect how colors appear.
If you are unsure about a shade, please feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help.

5. MADE-TO-MEASURE (CUSTOM) ORDERS

Most Shantima garments are made-to-measure or custom-made especially for you.
This includes adjustments to length, fit, or personalized measurements.

Because we begin preparing your order soon after it is placed — cutting fabric, planning production — special cancellation and return rules apply (see Sections 10 and 11).

6. PRICES, VAT & CURRENCY

Prices on the website are displayed in USD, EUR, or ILS.

• Orders shipped within Israel include Israeli VAT.
• Orders shipped outside Israel do not include VAT.
• Your local taxes, VAT, or import duties (if any) will be collected by your country upon arrival.

7. PAYMENTS

We accept:

• Visa
• Mastercard
• American Express
• Discover
• PayPal

Payment must be completed at checkout.
By placing an order, you confirm that:

• the payment details you provide are correct and valid,
• you are authorized to use the payment method,
• the transaction may be processed immediately.

8. SHIPPING POLICY

8.1 Production Time

Each garment is made individually in our studio in southern Israel.
Please allow up to 10 business days for your order to be handcrafted before shipping.

8.2 Delivery Methods

We ship via:

• Israel → Courier Post
• International → FedEx Express Post or FedEx Courier

All shipments include a tracking number.

8.3 Estimated Delivery Times

Israel: 2–3 business days
USA & Canada: 2–4 (Express), 7–10 (Courier)
Australia & New Zealand: 4–6 (Express), 7–14 (Courier)
Europe: 1–3 (Express), 5–10 (Courier)

8.4 Customs

Customs inspection may occur depending on your country’s regulations.
Shantima is not responsible for customs delays.

9. SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

We ship worldwide except to countries restricted by Israeli law or geopolitical limitations.

We do not ship to:
Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, and any other restricted territories.

Shipping is available to:
UAE, Egypt, Jordan, and Russia.

10. CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel any order:

✔ Within 24 hours of purchase → Free cancellation

No fees apply.

✔ After 24 hours:

Because we begin preparation shortly after receiving an order:

Made-to-measure / custom orders:
→ 20% cancellation fee

Standard-size (non-custom) items:
→ If the order has NOT shipped: cancellation is free
→ If the order HAS shipped: cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund

✔ If shipping was free

We deduct the actual shipping cost from the refund.

11. RETURNS & REFUNDS

If your order has arrived and you wish to return or exchange it, we are here to assist.

11.1 Return Request

Please email us at sales@shantima.com within 7 days of receiving your order.

11.2 Eligibility

We accept returns of:

• standard-size garments
• made-to-measure/custom garments
• gift cards (see Section 12)

Items must be:

• unworn
• unwashed
• in original condition

Sale items are eligible for exchange only.

11.3 Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

11.4 Refund Amount

Once we receive your returned item, we refund:

Made-to-measure / custom items:

→ Refund minus 20% fee
→ Minus original shipping cost (if shipping was free → we deduct actual cost)

Standard-size items:

→ Full refund
→ Minus original shipping cost (if shipping was free → we deduct actual cost)

Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

12. GIFT CARDS

Gift cards can be refunded under the same rules as physical products.

• Within 24 hours → full cancellation
• After 24 hours →
  • If digital → full cancellation
  • If physical and already shipped → shipping cost deducted
• If returned (unused and valid) → refund according to Sections 10–11

13. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

By using the Site, you agree:

• not to misuse the website
• not to attempt to interfere with the Site’s functionality
• not to engage in fraudulent activity
• to provide accurate information about yourself
• to comply with local laws when ordering internationally

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Shantima is not responsible for:

• indirect or consequential damages
• delays caused by couriers or customs
• color differences due to screen displays
• loss or damage caused by incorrect address information
• issues resulting from misuse of the product

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order.

15. PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy matters to us.
Please refer to our full Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and process your data.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
Any disputes shall be handled in Israeli courts.
